annoys the hell out of me in this game.

i was playing a guy online last night and it was 4th and short and he was down in the 4th quarter. Kirk herbstreak even recommends to go for it and the guy actually does, and when he does kirk herbstreak criticizes the move.

this happens like 5 times a game.

anyone else notice this?

Commentary is atrocious in this game. Either they haven't updated it from previous versions or Nessler and Herbie just mailed it in and collected their pay.

It's so bad that after a few games I turned it off, cranked up the stadium sounds.

Much, much better experience. That commentary adds absolutely nothing to an otherwise top-notch game.

I actually don't mind Herbstreak. It's that Kirk Herbstreit guy you have to look out for.

I like Mussberger(sp?) and Nessler MUCH better! I even like May Day, Rece and Lou. Kirk's just the one I can't stand...him and Coward...I mean Cowherd..and Skip Bayless...

But back to topic, I had to turn off commentary after about 15 games because I was just sick of it...

They have said the same thing for years now. I think they use the same commentary from when Lee's voice could be heard. They just cut Lee out. I turn the crowd volume way up and Kurt and Brad's volume way down. Also turn the PA volume up as well. I don't need canned commentary.
