Re: Conferences?

SEC is the best. The Big Ten is obviously the worst.

You can make that argument if you are talking BCS conferences this year.

Best would be SEC and worst is probably the Sun Belt

Re: Conferences?

1. SEC (in a class by itself)
2. Pac-10 (marginally ahead of Big Ten)
3. Big Ten (certainly not the worst BCS conference, not by a long shot)
4. Big 12 (for NCAA FB 11, its basically OU/Nebraska/Texas and little else maybe Missouri???, of course in RL Texas absolutely stank)
5. ACC (so much for inviting BC, Miami and Virginia Tech to have a conf title game, VT has added to the conference but BC is never going to be a superpower, as for Miami what can i say!)
6. Mountain West (current alignment its a reasonably good conference).
7. Big East (this being a BCS conference, should be ahead of the MWC but no it isn't)
8. C-USA (best of the rest)
9. WAC
10. MAC
11. Sun Belt

I think this is pretty good. Maybe Big Ten and Big 12 could be near tie. Not sure. Doesn't the WAC have Boise State? Who else is in that conference? Because there really isn't much in the C-USA

Re: Conferences?

The WAC only has Boise St. and they're leaving at that. Every so often another team will rise up and appear decent (Nevada this year, Hawaii a few years back with Colt Brennan, occasionally Fresno St), but really its a one man show.

Not to mention that 'one man' is leaving to go to the MWC. Overall it's a much more balanced conference, less bottom feeders. Although it takes a hit with the losses of BYU and TCU, it still has Utah which is a multiple BCS buster and soon Boise St. joins the mix.

The "one man"? All four of those teams you mentioned are heading there. The WAC is going to be terrible in 2012 (if it exists).

I think he means all the teams that have been the "one man" are going to be leaving. With that in mind, I can agree that the WAC sucks. I can't even name any other relevant teams in it subtracting those guys.
