What defensive player do you control and why??

For me I always go with the SS. I love being able to sit back and be a ball hawk on one play then come with a safety blitz when the time is right.

I usually go with my best DT when I think it's gonna be a run and my best DE when I think it's gonna be a pass.

I usually control a Safety when I'm in a Zone coverage or when i wanna blitz because it gives me a chance to play the ball Ex. screen plays, cover 3, cover 2

I control a Linebacker or a D-lineman if i think its a run play so i can get their quicker and try to blow up the run play.

Normally, LB or Deepest Safety....

on a passing down, just safety or fastest pass rusher, or blitzing LB

on a running down, DT or inside LB.

The passing down gives me the fastest ways to stop the play or react, and on a running down, I have the best shot at running right at the ballcarrier.

I use the No Switch Rule on defense and only control a DL

I love the way the game plays when i battle in the trenches to try and clog up the running lanes or get after the QB....

I've seen the CPU plenty of times double team me during games if start wrecking havoc....I love the animation when the Two blockers take down the DT and opens up a running lane up the middle on me...

It's by far IMO the more realistic style of play vs the CPU

Plus i love controlling guys LeRoy Selmon, Jerome Brown or Reggie White throughout the game since i tend to give big plays if i ever switch the seconday LOL!

I see CPU DLinemen easily beat double-teams and can speed rush. I cant beat double-teams or speed rush.
