A question for veterans or developers? Whom ever can answer.

So I am in an OD with my neighbor and today we had a user vs user game to play (we played it online of course). My question is if the game pause to the menu that reads "continue vs cpu or quit game" does this mean the opponent quit the game or was his connection lost? I know some may not be able to answer but if there is someone out there who could I would appreciate it.

Yeah those are the usual culprits for that screen.

The correct answer to this question is "yes" in that that message can mean either one of those two things. The best option from your perspective would be to finish the game against the AI and then work with your friend and the online dynasty commissioner to sort it out, in the event that the disconnect was not intentional.
