Anyone wish you could just pick your own cover athlete?

The cover athlete has nothing to do with the game's vision. The only two covers which did were Ray Lewis and Michael Vick for Madden.

That was my thought until I remembered that you see the cover image every time you get to the press start screen booting up the game.

So you can only play defense on this game if you play against people who "dumb down" their offense? If you could truly play defense on this game running 95% shotgun and sprinting to the sideline every down would not work.

Also I don't think the whole "cover athlete determines where the gameplay focus will be" thing still happens anymore. Especially now that we can vote on it. They already figured out what they were gonna focus on before the voting was over. Plus Tebow was on the cover last year and the focus def wasn't on the spread option or dual threat QBs.

Ya that guy is crazy if you think you can play true D on this game lol. Like I've said before though the defense probably is fine but IRL a QB doesn't have a birds eye view of the feild
