Continuing "Retired" Online Dynasty

Well, the OD I'm in is winding down after the next season and me and a few other guys want to continue it on our own. I saw that when you "retire" a dynasty it says that the other users can upload the dynasty and continue. Has anyone actually done this? How does it work? I'm assuming when the commissioner retires it, it will still show up in the user's dynasty list and it will prompt if you want to continue it?

If you save the OD to the hard drive, you can go to file management > online dynasty, and load the OD there. It'll create a new OD with you as the commish. Only do that after the other OD is gone though.

It's an unintentional ability, so it's possible some glitches can occur. however, both the OD's I'm in have done it at least once so far due to OD issues and both are currently still working.

What about just having the current commissioner make you the commissioner before he retires?
