Imagine the Potential

You're Georgia Tech. Your 9-1 and you still have a shot to get to the BCA National Title game. But you have an away game at Virginia Tech as your last remaining challenge. The crowd is wild, and "Enter Sandman" plays as the Hokies make their entrance. This is what stands in your way of an ACC championship and a possible BCS birth.

I can imagine 100 different scenarios that have the opportunity to reach their full potential with the updated presentation and atmosphere. Rivalries are given all new fire with this kind of stuff. I can't wait. What potential scenarios can you see in your NCAA 12 dynasty?

This is where dynamic commentary comes into place.
I needs a overhaul!

Yeah I agree. Even an update would be welcomed as long as I knew they were working on something getter for longterm. I need some excitement towards the end of games.

Re: Imagine the Potential

if they add a slot for end of game victory celebration that would be cool. could have the players singing the fight song to the student section

Overhauled Commentary will add to the atmosphere. It needs a complete overall.
I think it has been improved. They made a ton of improvements to presentation. It will seem pointless not to improve commentary.

Brand new presentation, about to play your first game. You select the first play and you hear the same commentary from the last gen.
Unlike other nonmajor presentation, Commentary is a must fix.

As much as I agree with you, if the commentary is as bad as last year, I would turn it off and not think twice. I'm fine with stadium sounds, a loud crowd, and the sound of the PA. All of that can help me enjoy the presentation without the killjoy that is NCAA football commentary. Is this an excuse for EA to leave commentary alone? Absolutely not. I love the commentary on 2K's MLB and NBA, and thought they did a terrific job with NCAA Basketball 10. If they get great commentary in I'll be overjoyed, but as of right now I can't help but look at it as icing on the cake.

Re: Imagine the Potential

There is a lot of potential there but the most potential is in gameplay which is why I'm glad it's EA's number one focus.

It totally ruins the game for me when you have eight or nine defenders just falling to the ground around one guy as he does a tackle animation you've seen over and over.

Edit: Actually, let me rephrase that, I don't care if I see tackle animations over and over but they have to look realistic like in the 2K games.

If you're 9-1 and an ACC team you aren't going to the NCAA Championship Game, at least not in NCAA Football 11.
