Ok this is me just thinking aloud so feel free to rip to shreds where you see a problem. How about the coaches have profiles with basic information such as alma mater and dream jobs. Then if a position opens up they can decide who they want. Once they decide if you are a coach that interest them, you may get an out reach communication asking you to gauge your interest in said job. It also would be asked of coaches doing well. Then maybe the ESPN presentation tools will report on this. It's a give and take. If you gauge too high u may start getting decommits. If you gauge too low and actually want the job they may not offer it to you. IDK add to it, point out problems, etc.

but for the record i don't think its a bad idea i would just hope not everyone would have a dream job. some guys might come from a really small school and they don't care about ending up at kent state or need to be at one of the top 10 jobs in the country (OSU, texas, UF, USC, etc).

but i do think along with the dream job angle you should get guys who are already at their dream job (i.e. joe pa, beamer, kiffin, etc.)

Guys he is not saying he heard this rumor about dynasty mode, he is saying his idea is for a "rumor mill" like feature.

I think what he means is, for example, if the Ohio State HC job came open, there would be like a quick ESPN show where they run down some potential candidates for the job, based on history, dream jobs, etc.

Along with that maybe they could add something about players too. Like mid season that junior DT on your team is having a monster season out of nowhere and in the rumor mill it could say something about him entering the draft next year and then you could decide to recruit another DT mid season.
