Not necessarily, NBA 2k11 implements tendency sliders quite well along with each player's individual tendencies.

There is no "Try for interception" tendency rating for a player or "go for strip" tendency for a player. These extras would impact the game play in a more general manner.

^ Do those tendencies effect how good the players are at each of those actions? Obviously, right?

No. See the big difference is that these sliders do not have a rating attached like individual attributes. They affect the occurrence of these things and not how successful a player is at doing that.

So for example, my 59 overall linebacker with "Try for Interception" maxed out will attempt to intercept the ball more but won't be as successful. As it stands there are no sliders to affect how often a certain thing is attempted. (i.e. go for strip, try for int, jump for deflection etc...)

This would be a huge advantage to us as gamers if this ever happened in NCAA football, but I'm not holding my breath. As it stands, we have about 15 sliders to mess with -- all very general and not even know to be very effective.

People who play NBA 2k11 understand what I'm talking about. The sliders aren't perfect in that game either but it isn't the most realistic sports sim to date by just pure luck.

Why? Bought it and couldn't play it more that 3 minutes. U can scream gameplay all u want but there has to be an acceptable level of graphics. That wasn't acceptable.

On one of the videos for the upcoming game , one of the questions asked was , are there going to be any new sliders and ratings , Ben Haumiller said no. So that ends that.

Hypothetical question.

If you had to choose between a game with great gameplay and poor graphics, or a game with great graphics and poor gameplay which one would you choose?
