No doubt this has the potential to be the deepest sports game since College Hoops 2K8. Mad props to EA, and the developers.

The zone coverage was so horrendous in NCAA 11 that they had to reassure people that it would be fixed in NCAA 12. I don't think fixing a glaring bug is "stepping their game up." That's fixing a huge mistake that they created.

NCAA 06 had custom playbooks. I don't think taking 6 years to add an OLD feature to next gen games is "stepping their game up."

i've never listened to them in the last 3 years....

in fact i turn them off and crank up the custom stadium sounds and the game sounds much better that way

Yeah thats makes the best atomosphere, since Dynamic commentary is a little tougher for football games than basketball IMO (even 2k gets repetitive every game with certain things) Its best to turn em off

But I will say this, since stat banners were said to pop up more frequently I will give them a try to see how or if they relay the stats in Dynasty n etc. Instead of my RB having 400 yards 4 TDS 120 REC YArds and saying "this Back is having a monster game"(and then silence).

You do realize that two separate generations means completely different coding?

Some of the coding might be similar but it's not a simple cut and paste job like people make it out to be. You pretty much have to base where EA has gotten from the next generation onward. It's not a matter of 'The PS2 had this why dosn't the PS3'. If it's already been coded of course the previous generations will keep things that the next generation may not have.

Just saying shooting down EA when they are actually improving several things is hypocritical. Let them get some praise for doing some good.

If your running back goes for 520 yards of total offense a game you need to step your sliders up, thats just not sim

If he had amazing blockers up front and started every possession inside the 20 and broke off a few major runs early on, then yea, I could believe it.
