Please tell me this has been addressed, Unrealsitic FG length attempts

Drop the kicking sliders down to zero for both yourself and the CPU... problem solved. Though on the flip side, the crappy kickers wont be able to hit an extra point that way. grrrr.. ok.. nevermind... kicking is broken no matter what you do.

20 field goal power works pretty well for me. sure some of the good kickers will hit long field goals, but it generally seems to keep most kickers within a reasonable range though i play on all american. i also set accuracy to 15 for the user. All your kicks are still makable, but if you don't take a kick seriously it's fairly easy to miss.

Definitely. I've seen way too many shanks from inside their own 20, so I start with the ball inside their 30. All of that from a Punter rated 89. Strange stuff.

FWIW, I suck at kicking. Always struggled with either format of the meter.

The issue has more do to with when the cpu would attempt a fg over a punt, teams on my 43 to 46 yard line would always line up for a fg instead of bringing on the punt team. This takes strategy out the game due to them missing the fg and my team getting the ball at midfield instead of getting pinned by a punt, one of the big bugs that killed the game for me last year.
