Re: My Final NCAA 2004 House Rules and Stuff Post

Great stuff. I am going to stick w/ these sliders to the end as well (I did raise hum run block to 10).

I just have a question in regards to the quarter length. I understand that 11 is ideal for the computer tendencies and amount of plays. It's just that sometimes I do not want to play one game that long. What do you guys think of playing 7 or 8 min. quarters and picking the plays faster (as someone had suggested earlier?)

I've played a few seasons on 8 min. quarters (before these sliders) and got realistic results statwise. What do you guys think? Suck it up and go w/ 11 min., or go back to 8. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Bill, thanks for all your hard work!

One question, what about sliders for the CPU defense? Forgive me if that is a dumb question. I'm assuming that based on the Human offensive sliders, none are necessary...but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks.

Sliders:

AA

OFF (HUM/CPU)
QB Acc - 10/18
Pass BLK- 5/17
WR CAT- 13/13
Run ABL- 10/20
Run BLK- 5/20

DEF (HUM/CPU)
AWR- 5/18
KNOCK- 8/18
INT- 5/10
Break BLK- 5/18
TAK- 5/15

Special Teams:

MAX Human FG accuracy (remember this will be on Heisman)

MIN CPU FG Accuracy

Penalty Sliders:

False Start: Max right
Holding: +7 from left
Face Mask: +4
OFF PI: Max right
DEF PI: Max right

The rest are in the middle.

You WILL see more holding calls but this has given me a very good and fair # of penalties.

Anyway that's all for now. Hope they help.

I'm not bill buy to answer your question, he has both posted. In his sliders it is listed like this. Human/CPU which means the first number is the setting for the human slider and the second one for the cpu slider. I apologize if I misunderstood you but I think thats what you were asking.

Re: My Final NCAA 2004 House Rules and Stuff Post

D-Dogg, I would suggest anywhere from 7-11. I play with 11 and wait till about 5 seconds on the play clock to hike the ball. If you call your plays fast I would suggest anywhere from 7-9. Hope that helps.

Re: My Final NCAA 2004 House Rules and Stuff Post

I agree that 11 works very well so do it if you can. Just be careful when waiting tell the 5 seconds. I break hudle pretty fast at times and have to wait a bit. I allways find myself doing the false snap "Hut", and my guys jump offsides more often than ann nicole smith eats twinkies... Three plays in a row one time.
