I think it was NCAA 2001. That was the only one I had bought on PS1, and I vaguely remember it being in there.

On the box for that game, if you look at the graphic on the bottom right, it says Recruit, Hire and Fire! So maybe that game did have some form of a CC

That is correct. It was the first one in the series I got. I was disappointed when it left the next year.

But NCAA always did that on the PS2. When you leave a school, it'd "promote" a 1-AA coach.

Yeh I believe it started in '99 that was my first NCAA but I remember most about '99 was the ability to CREATE PLAYS, 11 years later...

Or maybe I'm just getting old LOL They had the option to have a playoff or bowl games and the end of the season on Bill Walsh College Football on Sega Genesis which came out in 94 or 95. I remember I used to always play with College Station not knowing that they were Texas A&M. Hell I didn't know many College teams then besides for UGA and GT.



Notice Ohio State is Columbus, BYU is Provo, N.C. State Raleigh; several school were named after their locations LOL

Yeh for some reason I never owned a college football game on the Genesis but I did have Madden '95 which I played all the time. The first football game I ever had was NES Play Action Football on the Nintendo. I remember playing that game and I was a very young kid back then.
