This was the first time I played NCAA football, always played Madden before this. I played as Baylor, finished 9-3 (Heisman difficulty), wins over rivals Texas, TA&M; ranked 23rd BCS. Cotton Bowl win over Mississippi State.

I got coaching offers from Arizona State and Georgia, but chose 3-year extension to stay with Baylor, which moved up to 3-star program. I finished with the 60-something ranked signing class (Heisman difficulty): bunch of 3 star recruits. My best recruit was a 72 MLB, the rest were a bunch of scrubs (40-65 range). Going up 10 points or whatever won't help them much – if they go up at all.

This leads to my big problem: progression. For example, my freshman SS (I played as him) was named to the Freshman All-American team and also finished 3^rd in voting for Jim Thorpe award. But his overall rating didn't go up at all, just said minimum improvement, and he's still stuck at 75 overall.

I was jazzed for next year, but now not so much. In short, is there something Im doing wrong or what the heck is going on? I loved this game until I got to the offseason.>>

if no one on your team got any progression, it is because you didn't download all the patches and/or Tuner updates. If you have the latest patch, I believe you must have the tuner file to get progression.

If it was just that one player that didn't get any, I guess it was just bad luck.

Yeah. If you have patches without the newest tuner, you'll never have progression.

Ya, none of my players progressed. So this "tuner" update should fix it?

Yeah, it'll probably fix it. Word of warning though: I had all the tuners and patches downloaded and I still lost an entire season's progression a couple weeks back. My advice is to turn off autosave and manually save before advancing every stage of the offseason.

Cool it with all the emoticons though, chief.

Ah. Im really sorry about that, I didnt see those at all. I feel like a bit of an idiot now.
