You can only do so much with the talent you have.

As for my approach to playing the Dynasty as a coordinator, I'll do like most said, limit my time on my recruits for my side of the ball and let the cpu handle their side.

A number of teams with lesser talent performed much better than Michigan did on defense.

I think recruiting for your side of the ball will be fun. I kinda like the whole coordinator idea I might play out one dynasty as only a coordinator the whole time

I think the Broncos won those Super Bowl's because of Elway, Sharpe and Davis. Their offense was # 1 in 1997 and # 2 in 1998. Just look through Robinson's career... and then tell me he's any good.

Sounds like an easy way to get rid of the head coach when you are a prized coordinator at the school you wish to stay at for awhile.

Just make sure the recruiting goals for the HC are missed and before you know it, Open HC position at your University.
That sounds realistic to me... Best way to get rid of your boss is to sabotage things for him/her. Danger is how to do that and avoid anything to spill unto you... which might well happen if you screw up recruiting as coordinator: less interest in year 2 and (somewhat) lower prestige if you get the HC position

Think i am going to put the players i want on my side of the ball on the recruiting board and let the cpu try to recruit them for me. That way the head coach still does the recruiting but he recruits the guys i want for my offense
