custom playbook question

I don't know if this has been asked, I did a quick search and couldn't find an answer to my question.

Okay so I'll be using clemson and they have the new spread, and I love that and will be using it.

But I want to add in at least two pistol formations.

Can I do this? Or will I literally have to delete some of the original playbook... or start from scratch and add all of the clemson plays then the pistol plays..

You can pick Clemson's playbook as a base and add/remove whatever you want to it, as long as it's under 40 total formations and/or 400 plays.

from one of the videos, Northwestern had 19/40 formations and 326/374 plays.

the play limit is different for which playbook you choose as the base, because of the Special teams, Goal Line, and Hail Mary formations/plays count towards the limit as well and they are locked. I think the actual play limit is 400.

I plan on practically doing the same thing. Just barely changing their playbook.

I saw in a video you can't change goaline formations...

But I remember a goal line formation in ncaa 11 that was a diamond looking formation... is it still in the game, and if so can you only use it if the base playbook has it?

when you create a playbook, you start off by choosing a base playbook. what ever Goal Line package that playbook has, you will have. I think every team has the exact same Special Teams and Hail Mary formations/plays, so the Goal Line formation/plays are the only variable when it comes to formations/plays.

Thanks, I didn't mean to hijack this guys thread. I like that diamond goal line formation, but it's not worth the work I'd have to do to get it with Clemson's playbook.

I think you're probably thinking of the wishbone goalline set. Florida and Miss. St both have that formation. I'm not sure if others have it.
