On the Fence

Hi Guys

I am on the fence about picking up NCAA 11 for $29.99 or waiting and getting 12 for full price when it comes out. I have been wanting to play a ncaa game for a while now but never really had a huge follower of ncaa football I guess being in Canada it doesnt have the following that it does for you guys in the states. Would I be missing much if I just stick to 11 for now and wait a few months down the road to get 12.

Any help would be great

Thanks
Jeremy

Re: On the Fence

I'd just wait. Its less than a month away at this point. If it was cheaper than 30 bucks I'd pick it up but its still a little high imo. Of course you mentioned you are not a huge follower but for die hards, the game play issues of 11 have been fixed in 12 so it will play much better.

Re: On the Fence

I haven't played NCAA football in some time and was thinking about getting 11 last year and didn't, but I really like what I see from 12 with the Coaching format and the Road to Glory, High School season then getting recrutied.

Seems like they have a few different variations that can keep the game exciting and I have read a lot of improvement in game play, especially on the D side of the ball, so that is good too.

I'm getting 12, that is for sure.

Re: On the Fence

Don't waste your money, if your gonna get both then go ahead but if not wait a few weeks to get NCAA 12. NCAA 11 is a great game but NCAA 12 is worth the wait of about 3 weeks.

My PS3 died and i switched over to Xbox 360. Unfortunately I have been without NCAA Football 11 for about 7 months now. I didn't want to spend anymore money after I bought the Xbox 360 haha. Getting very antsy waiting for NCAA 12 as you might expect.

Re: On the Fence

The Demo comes out the 28th. That should tide you over until 12 comes out. So really, you only have to wait 10 days to get your fix. Up to you.

Re: On the Fence

thanks for the help guys I might pick up 11 to just have a go at it to pass some time. Dumb question but can you dl rosters for the PS3 that have real players names? because with the stock game its just position and number on there jerseys right?

Thanks again
