Late hits

Does anyone know if this has been addressed in NCAA '12? It was really frustrating to have your QB get nailed 3-4 seconds after he let go of the ball (one of the reasons why I frequently turned injuries off, that got real old, real fast). I haven't noticed it in the videos I've watched so far, but then again, I haven't been looking very closely.

Re: Late hits

I haven't seen anything about it, but I hope it has been. Being 2-3 steps out of bounds and then getting drilled gets tiring fast.

Re: Late hits

This was irritating to me, only because A) how dumb it was that the Defenders didn't know better to not Hit stick the QB after the receivers had practically caught the ball, and B) That a late hit is Never called, at least not if the CPU does it anyway. User Late hit the QB the way CPU does and flags go flying. Injuries on the other were actually very infrequent to my QB's during these late hits, and actually only occurred when he was fair game, so it wasn't as bad as it could've been.

The only reason I'm against this is because the CPU wouldn't learn its lesson and would continue drawing penalties and giving away free first downs.

Re: Late hits

Yeah late hits on players is never called. I was playing last night and on a handful of plays, the player would be clearly out of bounds already and still get tackled.

Same thing with illegal touching. Never gets called. Hell the only penalties that ever get called is clippling, holding and face mask.

I never seen pass interference called, very rarely see offsides called..

Re: Late hits

I draw an offsides at least 3 times a game. I've seen pass interference but sometimes you can go 4 games into the season without one being called. There is at least 4 called a game in real life.

Re: Late hits

I think the current technology just isn't good enough for pass interference, its as if the game can't handle keeping up with if the reciever or db were interacted with.
