Will do. I was kidding about the SEC and B1G parts. The only conferences it even has a shot of stealing an AQ from are the Big East and maybe the ACC.

Do you know if you can switch around bowl alignments after a couple of years? Because if so I might create them w/out an AQ bid and wait until 3-4 years to see if they become deserving of an AQ

Yes, you can change conference settings at the end of each season, which includes BCS bids.

The current Mountain West fulfilled 2 of the 3 BCS requirements and may get a 2 year BCS waiver. That being said this 12 team allignment is much better than the group that may get AQ status IRL.

Simply removing New Mexico, Wyoming, and UNLV helps. I might use Tulsa or SMU instead of Utah State or UTEP

Ok that Pitt and WVU from the Big East, USC and Oregon from the Pac 10, Texas and Oklahoma from the Big 12 and u have the same thing. That's not a fair argument.

I say no to this version of the MWC, but at the same time I say take away the Big East's AQ status. Neither should have it in my opinion. Of the two, I say this MWC would get the AQ over the Big East.

If I wasn't so pumped on the Pac-12 I would use this set up for sure!

As for the AQ status? There should be no such thing IRL.

The teams that truly don't have what it takes to make a BCS run, wont.
And the teams that can and do (BSU, TCU) would get what's theirs. They win, they win, and if they lose, they can try it again next year. All without all of this "told ya so" crap we hear week in and week out during the fall.

That is one of the only changes I'll be making with Custom Conferences; removing the "AQ status." To me, it's a joke.
