Actually no. I created a new account for the 30 day gold trial, and the PC uni's carried over from the garbage account to my real one.

This. It carries over from one account to any other on the same console. I did the same thing last year, from what I recall.

Im pretty sure for most new accounts they give you a free 1 month gold account. Ive done it multiple times when my Gold has ran out and I wanted to play some COD.

Unless they've changed how they do it, each HDD has 3 free 1 month accounts on it.
