Run D strength (since there is not much else being talked about)

Will the defenses still backpedal away from the ball carriers this year just because we turn down the strength of run defense? This to me was/is one of the major game killers for me. I understand that everyone skill level is not the same however IMO there is NO REASON that a front seven player should be backpedaling on running plays, I understand defensive players taking false steps 1 to 2 steps back but I can't for the life of me figure out why this is in the game. I know some/must may play on default rosters but are there any others here who know what I am talking about.

Also I would love to get pressure when rushing my ROLB against the left side of the Oline.

I think people are keeping impressions in the official thread for them
