need help with a friend for uni's

I am an off and on again with NCAA but will pull the trigger this year. I would love to get the pro combat uniforms but appears that I need to friend somebody to get them. Can some one help me with this? Not only a friend but also the details on how to complete this process. I downloaded the demo last night but was unable to dive into it. If there is a way to just create a friend I am open to that but need to know what to do.

Just go into the demo and send the demo to a friend and you unlock them. I just picked someone on my list that hasn't signed on in months and I got them.

If you dont have a friends list, type in a name like Michael or Joseph, chances are you will type in a name thats in the network. It worked for me.

Yeah just type in a random name. I typed in homeboy and it unlocked them.
