Someone help me understand. RE: WVU Pro Combat

I would like some feedback to understand the process more. Do non-revolution facemasks take up less disc space then "newer" facemasks? That's an honest question, I have no idea. What's weird is that the NCAA did a great job(when they finally did it) of putting in the "Percy Harvin" facemask and the college Tim Tebow facemask but they're way different(incorrect) in Madden. You think they'd share that tech/code/whatever. That's my ignorant thought, again I don't know. Also I think M. Young does a great job for the Madden team.

To me NCAA is going to fix/improve what they consider to be the "deal-breaker" feature. Meaning since I think most Iowa fans still bought the game with the incorrect facemasks and dealt with it(must have been a bummer and that's not sarcasm) Tiberon can conclude that if they get in more "art" and if most of it is right then great. BUT that's much less important then whatever "deal-breaker" feature is that years thing. Same thing with Teambuilder. When it came out they gave us numbers about how many thousands of teams were created but how many took those teams to the game and invested alot of hours into a franchise? I know I did, I love that feature. But if they had stats that said EVERYBODY is doing teambuilder I have to believe it would be a priority and there would be big updates/changes every year. Which is I think what the Madden team is doing this year with OFFline franchise.

Others will say "It's just _____, who cares?" Okay fine. Then why have any facemasks in the game? When i'm dropping back to pass I'm not thinking "wow that revo speed is sweet", but it takes you out of the game if this stuff is wrong. And I think living the "college football atmosphere" is what their stated goal is, if not "If it's in the game..."

To sum up. I want all the equipment and "art" to be 100% correct. I wish it was. Doesn't mean Tiberon doesn't care about doing it right. I think they do, and they get most things right. But I'm still buying the game either way. And I think Tiberon knows that.

EA designs the uniforms and sends them to the schools, who are then supposed to point out any errors. If the schools say all OK, then EA publishes the uniform.

EA needs the school's approval to put in anything. Otherwise, Ben could create ugly Florida uniforms and give FSU a huge stadium.

EA just needs to start telling the schools what their uniforms are going to look like. That would fix the whole problem. Make the schools match the game.

In the end, the University approved of it, so it wasn't a big enough deal to them.

Only in the NCAA franchise can you find a quote like "And congrats on your not-so-new now stadium but new-in-the-game stadium. It looks awesome!"

I cannot imagine the uprising that would occur if a team like Everton or Fulham from the EPL had the wrong color jersey or the last years jersey model in Fifa. People would pitch a fit. Hell, Fifa patched an entire team (The Portland Timbers) in the game that wasn't there. (Something we've been told that can't happen in this franchise)

Excited for the game, you betcha. Gameplay better and dynasty improved, oh god yes.... but the little things seem to throw them for a loop.
