Wouldn't it be really cool if there were alternate stadiums?? Cincy played Oklahoma in Paul Brown Stadium (home of the bengals) last year and they play Louisville, and WV there this year. I wish they had this feature just for a more realistic dynasty experience

This is something that I briefly thought about last yeast, and this year as well.
Not too big of an issue, but it would seem that since EA has the ability to use
these stadiums in Madden, that they would also be able to use them in NCAA.

The problem is, there are probably quite a few teams who use NFL stadiums from
time to time. I know Oregon State opened up down in the Dallas, Cowboys
stadium last year. Seeing that Cincinnati played in the Bengals stadium, I am
assuming that many other teams may also use NFL stadiums.

Now, people on these forums keep noting that space is an issue. If that's the
case, then putting a bunch of NFL stadiums into the game may just be out
of the question. Good thought, but probably not going to be possible. Also,
could be licensing issues here as well...

I wouldn't mind if they added in NFL stadiums though. It would be cool.
They would probably just copy and paste the code over from Madden too...
But I could be wrong here...

Personally, I would like to see the graphics during the gameplay come up to
par with the graphics during the replays first. That would be sweet.

If they could get the replay graphics into the regular gameplay the game would look amazing!

Exactly, man. It would be tight. People say that they don't have the capabilities,
but if they can do it during the REPLAYS, why not during the GAMEPLAY?

I have said it once and I will say it again; When EA advertises this game on TV,
they're going to advertise the REPLAYS, not the GAMEPLAY.

I almost guarantee it.

This is so unethical that I can't even stand it.

I think this will ultimately decide if I purchase this game or not. If EA shows
actual gameplay during the commercials (with the unimproved graphics), then
I may just get this game.

But...

If EA tries to pretend that their graphics are amazing by only showing cut
scenes and replays, screw them.

Sorry...

THIS!

Alternate Stadiums are a must for Football programs that have esteemed rich tradition playing in another venues. Arkansas plays at least one SEC/non-conf game in War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock and of course the highly contested "Battle for the Boot" against LSU.

EA needs to research getting other alternate stadiums in the game.

An easy way (not the best way) would be to get as many stadiums in the game as possible, even some more generics. Then, before every game (even in dynasty) have a drop down menu and you can pick the stadium where you want the game to be played.

If they could do it during gameplay they would, it really is that simple. During replays and close ups the game uses higher polygon renders of the player models, because it's a more limited and controlled environment with less required to render. If you go into replay mode, and zoom far out, then slow zoom in, you'll notice the player models gradually shift, and improve in quality the further you zoom in. The system just isn't capable of running the highest quality player models at all times, the same goes for almost, if not all sports games.

For example, in the total war series on the PC. The game can display at times thousands of 3D models at a time, but at a distance they actually revert to 2D textures, because at a distance it isn't really necessary to render them as you can't see them in anywhere near full detail. It's just a better way to manage, and work with limited resources.
