That would be where the improved part comes in though. In reality they need to scrap all of the commentary they have and just start from scratch. They've swept commentary under the rug for years now, It really needs to be a focal point next year, along with presentation.

Actually.... I'm glad you said this...

Can I change my vote? lol...

I forgot that I usually end up turning off commentary.

I really don't need it. I skip through almost every replay right now anyways. Getting more detailed analysis won't have me watching the replay. As someone with a wife, kids, and a full-time job, my time for playing video games is limited and I don't want to waste it watching replays.

They did say the presentation and announcers would be getting reworked next year with emphasis on the commentary. Wish I could find the link and it might only be for madden, but it was on here, just would need to find it.

No way... a waste. If you gotta remind people what it is, its not worth the addition. Give me suspensions, Heisman presentation, College Gameday etc. over this any day.

I'm surprised more people aren't a fan of this. It certainly isn't perfect, but it would add a lot to the commentary.

To me it would add a lot to the game to see plays broken down by the announcers just like they do in real life.

This video is a little better. The biggest changes that I would make are to make it shorter and to add positive plays to it also.

I dont really mind either way, but I voted no.

Now you guys are talking about commentary but here is something I don't think some people realize, commentary will always get stale after awhile because there is a finite number of lines being recorded. Sure there might be that one line that is hidden and appears every once in a blue moon (like the shades of Jose Canseco line in MLB 10 The Show) but other than that every line will be heard.

Here is the real problem I see with commentary in this game. There is little to no emotion in the commentary. That is the problem. Somehow they need to record the annoucers with their excited voice, and then find a way to get the AI to recognize what situation to use the excited voice. Same goes for the crowd getting louder. The problemis getting the AI to "see" what we see.

So are you guys saying you don't want in game analysis, or are you saying you don't like the way backtrack was implemented?
