anybody find out why georgia all blacks were left out and marylands black helmet. Was it a mistake or did those teams say they were not wearing them

Georgia said they won't be wearing black for a long time, I don't know if they told EA to take them out but that seems likely based on their plans. They were featured in a screen when they talked about the pylon physics (a uga player was diving into the endzone, knocking over the pylon with a Georgia Tech player behind him wearing one of their current whites).

With Maryland, my guess is they didn't want to spoil the surprise, as they were featured in early screens but didn't make the final cut of the game. However the black helmet has been featured on promos for the upcoming season, so it certainly appears to exist (and its consistent with their plan to associate the school with the State and not so much their mascot). I imagine they will wear them at some point this season, and they will become the primaries next year. It would be cool if they are just hidden for the time being and will be made available once they are worn (I know they can't add in new uniforms but is it possible for them to make previously unavailable uniforms available if they are already in the game?).

New uni news!

Wyoming has added some new choices to their wardrobe.

including:

a brown matte helmet (with brown and white decals)
a new white jersey (WYO on the chest with gold panels on the sides)

all other parts are already in the game.

here's the link, the best look at them is photo 40, which shows all the players wearing the various designs

EDIT: just realized the old white jersey wasn't being modeled, not sure if this means that they will no longer use it or if they simply weren't showing it off at this particular photo shoot.

Me too. I find it odd, since it was being rumored they were going to use those as a primary road uniform (as if Oregon has a primary anything, but still).

I really dig the brown helmet. Looks real sharp, imo.


One thing I'd add to the list - this is year 3 of the current Oregon uniforms. Which means they will likely have a new set going into NCAA 13.
