Best Graphics - IPS PC Monitor - AWESOME!

I use an Asus 23" monitor for all of my gaming. It looks amazing and the response time is basically non existent (it's the same monitor they use for MLG so it must has a really low response time.) I love it for shooters and sports games.

It was pretty cheap also.

I could look this up but I'm too lazy...I'm assuming you just hook the ps3 up to the monitor via the hdmi cable? Does it matter what kind of video card you have?

No, it has nothing to do with your PC or anything in it. You just plug the HDMI cable into the monitor straight from your PS3/360, just like you do with a TV.

Thanks! I'll have to look into now. As long as it looks better on the monitor than on my HDTV (the graphics looked pretty bad on the tv).

Could it be that the monitor is smaller than a television. I imagine that's why it looks better, also why I don't like playing on monitors. I like big screens.

I need a monitor for my dorm and one issue I have is im unsure how audio would be delivered from the ps3

That's exactly what I was told, because the screen is smaller, it presents a slightly better picture, me personally am ok with my tv I am using.

Really depends on your budget, the two I mentioned look exceptional - though if you want to go cheap say $200 check out this monitor - I have it as well, works great!
