Deleted everything, re-booted and still can't get the patch. What is going on?

have you tried rebuilding the database? you can google how to do it and it doesn't take long (time varies). you will lose your playlists for music and psn messages if you do it. everything else will stay.

i don't really know of a reason why this would work, but just trying to think of anything. this helps solve other freezing problems i've had in games like Mlb The show.

It's not a freezing issue, I just can't connect when prompted to download the patch.

I still cant download it. First it went to 2% and stopped, then i tried again and it went to 9% and stopped, another try and it went up to 15% and stopped, after this its not even going up to 15% anymore before it stops. My connection is fine so i dont know what the problem is.

Is there anyway to download the patch through the cpu and transfering to the ps3 through a flashdrive?

It sucks because i dont want to start playing it without the patch...
