Major oversight with helmets

I was looking at the new revo speed facemasks because ive been wanting them for awhile but noticed they looked a little off. The facemasks were lower than normal with every new facemask that got added but i figured well maybe they just made it a little small or something but i get in game and noticed they are not even attached to the new helmets, just zoom in on rev speed robot 2, revo speed 3 bar rb and lb. I mean this is a pretty big thing to me and since i paid my 63 like everybody else i want to know if this can be fixed via patch or am i just screwed til next year.

I mean dont the devs work in the same building as the madden devs and yet these game are miles apart when it comes to the little things. Its completely unacceptable that they can add so much and this team adds so little. I mean we already have to accept that players are running around the field like the predator but now this come on ea

Madden is EA Tiburon in Maitland, Florida.

I'm pretty sure they have never patched in equipment. I could be wrong though. I know it's your prerogative, but equipment is at the bottom of my lists for fixes. To each his own though

hopefully this isn't the start of people freaking out over small things, but looks like it is... I've already seen 4 or 5 of these threads so far

Err, I'm sorry. I misread some information.


When I read his comment about them being right down the hall, I wanted to double check, because EA is a massive company, and I know that FIFA and NHL, for example, are definitely not in the same building. NCAA is at EA Tiburon. EA Sports (which is in California) is simply the headquarters for all EA's sports titles. Half of which are produced at EA Tiburon in Florida, and the other half at EA Canada in Vancouver.


That said though... they're different games. Different engines, etc. Just because Madden has one thing right doesn't mean it's exactly the same piece of coding and the NCAA team needs to just run over their, write it down on a piece of paper, then run back to their cubicle and put it down there.

Is it a MAJOR oversight? No.
Is it an oversight? Yes.
Should it be fixed? Absolutely.
Is it gamebreaking? No.

By the way... I'm not really sure what you're talking about... haven't seen it myself, but... this is definitely not the first year that the Revo Speed helmets were included...
