Release rating?

Is this rating changed? I believe it used for recievers, but in my RTG I see a skill upgrade called Get on my lvl. It gives release +2, throw power +2, throw accuracy +1, and it says "Show the Defense what level you are on with this Release, Throw Power & Throw Accuracy Boost."

So does this mean release helps the release of the ball for QBs or something?

Re: Release rating?

This is exactly whats on my mind. I thought it was for receivers also but how does this affect a quarterback?

I saw that and was wondering the same thing too. I looked at all the top QB's in the game and they have low ratings for release and even bad receivers have higher ratings for release than QB's so I think it was just something odd they mistakenly put in. I figure if the worst receiver for Temple has a higher rating for that than Andrew Luck it must not be for a QB.

Re: Release rating?

It would be cool if it was how quick the QB's release is when throwing the ball but I doubt it is.

Re: Release rating?

I believe the release for WR's is for releasing from bump & run coverage.

Like I told him, test it for yourself. It's not hard.

Re: Release rating?

playing as a halfback in RTG, i noticed one of the skill upgrades was a combo of break tackle, strength, and hit power. i thought hit power only affected the defense.
