Communication Methods

I am very new to NCAA Football, both the game and sport. After getting destroyed in a few online games and in my own AA dynasty, I was curious if anyone knows a good place to chat with other players, like an IRC chat or something. I'm looking to find some people to play and chat with so that I'm not just getting mercilessly beaten by faceless people with poor internet speeds, but instead by people who I can actually talk to and perhaps get feedback and tips. I don't really know anyone in real life to play the game with, so I don't have that option, and I'm not sure how much I could commit to a smaller group like an OD. Just mainly looking for some good outlet to chat with people(who won't mock my newbness, unless in jest).
