History of 5* Recruits

Saw this article on 5* recruits today on Yahoo. Thought it was pertinent to NCAA considering some of the arguments about progression and players being busts/studs. With any luck NCAA 12 will emulate this.

Re: History of 5* Recruits

If you look at the All-Americans last year, about half of them were 3*.

Thanks for the great read!

There's a reason more 3 star players become All-Americans than 5-star players...

5-star players are Monaco and 3-star players are China. China always wins raw numbers, regardless of overall quality.

Agreed, better way to look at it is % of 5-stars, 4-stars, 3-stars, etc. that become All-Americans.

pretty sure we won't see it in this year's game, but hopefully some future edition will. There should be some variety with recruiting. Like 5 stars who bust, 3 stars who come in and dominate as freshmen, etc. I think it would take some major programming for all the scenarios that can happen though, so I doubt we'll see realistic recruits/progression any time soon.
