Glitch or problem with my disk?

Everytime i start up my game it runs through the intro and i get to the "Press Start" page. I click start and it says "connecting to EA servers".
That goes away and then it say's loading with the spinning dots around it. My game then freezes with the dots in the exact same spot every time it freezes.

I looked at my disc and it has this strange dark patch/blob thing on the bottom side... I don't know whats wrong... it was workin this morning

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You probably have a corrupted file during the save process. Go into your hard drive and delete all of your ncaa 12 files with the exception of the online pass. Should work after that. I had the same problem happen to me.

Dude I had the same problem!!! Idk whats wrong!
