Do online games use Weather Channel feeds or will all games be sunny and 12:30 starts?

Try this. Only negative is you have to be the home team all the time or tell your buddy how to do it.

Yes you are correct, but you don't have to flip anything. Just get to where you see the weather screen then exit out. As long as you have the home team weather will be activated. It's a breathe of fresh air not to play @ 12:30 every game. I have no idea why EA didn't fix this problem. It worked fine a couple of years ago. It makes no since to have to go through all of this for a feature.
