I restarted my dynasty last night after editing all coaches down to zero prestige. It took about two hours to go through and edit all 360 coaches. I also edited the conferences.

I've only done the first 3 weeks of Year 1 so far before I ran out of time and had to go to bed.

In my opinion this is the single most glaring issue with the game. Progression doesn't bother me so much as the fact that moving up in the coaching ranks becomes almost impossible once the A+'s proliferate... when every team down to 2* prestige has an A+ coach, and most have A+ coordinators, what are you supposed to do? It effectively ruins the idea of earning a better job, you either hack it with the program you've got or you're screwed.

My question is, do we have any evidence that EA acknowledges this as a problem, and there is an intention to patch it? Or is some weird measure like this one going to end up being the only answer?

I'm on Xbox 360. It took a while like I said (about 2 hours to edit all coaches and coordinators), but it never froze on me.

I can post some observations if you want once I play through a couple of seasons of my dynasty. I'm only in the first season right now though so it may take a few days to get there.

Good question. The coach prestige issue was posted in the unofficial patch request thread but who knows if EA even knows about it. Also unsure, if it's something that they do fix if we will have to restart the dynasty or if we would be able to have it take effect in the following season.

I still have my roster with the coach edits I did in my test if you want it.

I believe the roster was a gamingtailgate roster and the guy that posted it made a couple small changes, like removing Pryor from Ohio St. I did'nt make any roster changes.
I also updated the run/pass ratios using the google doc from the thread here, link below to see it if you want.

I know what you mean about freezing. I did nearly all the hc then it froze and I had to start over

, decided to save often after that and it still froze a couple times but at least it was only 10 min of lost time then.
