Is the Stiff Arm Broke???

Not fully, if your alone by a yard or so it will switch hands. If your going to enter connect animation it will do a stiff arm

True and they only way to fix this, I believe, is to make one animation that has a switch ball + stiff arm. Then it will be like in RL. Switching carry hands and stiff arming is one smooth swift motion that takes 1 sec to do as RB's do this mainly by muscle memory by the time they reach college level.

I don't know if the stiff arm happens after the switch animation in the game because I was always being hit when switching and never got to see if a stiff arm happened (without hitting stiff arm again)

The stiff arm doesn't happen if contact is coming, it will switch (if the ball is on the same side as the tackler). Makes sense can't stiff arm with a ball in your hand. (well you could, but it would be less painful to just hand the ball to the tackler as you'll get the same result)

I didn't make it clear enough. If you tap A while alone it will switch the ball, if you tap A with a defender about to hit you it will make the stiff arm animation with you free arm. I never said stiff arm with the hand your hold the ball with. That just stupid to assume

Try tapping right before contact, and try holding. You will have More succsess with tap, just like flicking the right stick to truck rather then holding it.

Also think of it just like the D-line moves, you do it to early and you'll end upon the ground. Timing right before contact.

It's in the game because watching CPU games, you'll see it quite a bit. It's all about timing like was said, when you are in control.
