Dynasty: School Rankings

Question for anybody that may know:

How do they develop the rankings for the schools? It seems as if the BCS is pretty even and graded fairly but all the non-BCS schools are just tossed a C or worse rating.

Example: Akron has a brand new stadium and a indoor practice facility/field house. But they are a C in facilities? Makes no sense...

Then academic rankings are a laughable all over the place there...

I was just curious....it really kills enthusiasm for guys like myself who try to start at 1 star schools and can't do anything in recruiting because the rankings are a joke and you pitch 20 points for everything.

I understand the BCS schools have the largest fan bases but I would assume you could spend more than ten minutes to create a realistic ranking system for the rest of the school grades.

Just griping I suppose.

I have actually wondered about the Academic prestige rating.. I mean I am not sure where they get this rating from but alot of it seems very odd.. Alot of good football schools get a high academic rating when they just simply are not.. Then schools that have low ratings are actually a Tier 1 Research University in real life but only have a rating of C in the game for academic prestige..

Its not a huge deal for me.. but as a nerd in school, its just something i have noticed.
