Re: Do you use aggressive or conservative strategies?

If I am ahead in the 4th quarter by at least 2 possesions then I go all conservative.

If I am behind by 2 possesions in the 4th I go aggresive on Big Runs, Pass Catching, DL Aggresiveness, Big Hits.

I want ot make things happen to get back in the game and will take that risk/reward.

I usually leave everything balanced though and will mix in strategy changes depending on down and distance and the flow of the game.

I've always wondered if the CPU uses these throughout the course of the game...

I really only use it in the 4th, for the accelerated play clock, like others mentioned above.

Re: Do you use aggressive or conservative strategies?

Depends on the players you have.

If you're playing with horrible personnel, then you need to go conservative to help them catch, not fumble, etc.

Same for defense, bad tacklers need conservative settings.

If you have better players, you can be more aggressive.

If I'm playing as an underdog I might go conservative tempo to eat the clock and try to keep the ball out of the opponent's hands. Other than that, only to close out a half or game.
