NCAA 12 Practice Mode Question

Hi, I'm having a problem with the controls on xbox 360 version of NCAA 12, specifically on defense my user controlled player is completely missing tackles and big hits.

I decided I need to practice some of my rust off, but the practice mode in NCAA 12 is underwhelming. I am looking for an option to practice "chase and tackle" drills with my linebackers in order to improve my pursuit and big hits in-game. Also I want to practice coffin corner punts, but I cannot find that practice mode at all in NCAA 12 either.

I've spent half an hour on google searching for an answer with no luck. I'm hoping someone here can help me out, thanks.

Just pick the punt play if you want to practice punts. You shouldn't need something to tell you where to kick it; it won't be there in a real game.

I got some chase and tackle drills down by practicing my big hits repeatedly on an option play.

The reason I asked about coffin corner punt drills is because in-game when I think I have the right angle for a beautiful coffin corner punt it turns out the angle was too soft and the punt goes into the endzone. The controls are slightly different than what I am used to. Obviously I do not need something to tell me where to kick it in-game, I was simply looking for the practice drill in order to sharpen my skills.
