No two player dynasty?

Me and a buddy were gonna do our normal two person dynasty....and I couldn't seem to figure out how to add two user controlled teams. Am I missin something or just stupid or did they really make it only single player dynasties offline?

you can create a new coach once you create yours and you are in preseason. which would be his coach i believe its under the coaching area in dynasty

This. If you go to "Coach Central", it will give you the option to create another coach. It even warns you before you do so that the created coach will replace a CPU coach. So your buddy can create his coach after you create the dynasty but before you start playing games.
