Need Community Help For Crash After Press Start

I am on 360 with an XBox purchased last year. I have not had a single freeze. 120 GB HD Elite

I have:

- Played extended amounts of time patched and unpatched
- Used named and named rosters
- Used various slider settings
- Auto Save enabled

I have not:

- Downloaded more than one roster
- Created custom playbooks
- Created custom conferences or made any edits to them
- Played online ranked games

It might be worth seeing if there is a trend with players that have had this error and playing online. I have not played this year’s game online at all as of yet but I have used customer rosters and played a couple dynasty’s with them and just like SECElite3 said above I have never had the freeze up due to rosters. Only those 2 when the Message of the Day popped up I mentioned above.


Just a thought, this could be a common denominator. Sorry if this is not exactly on topic, but I have beta tested a ton of games over the past 20 years so I think that way. Just trying to help.

As you know I've had the freezing issue, but the first thing I do when I get new games is turn off stuff like Auto Save right away. So mine wasn't even on when my freezing took place. In fact I turn off all extra features that might slow or hinder the game, like the ESPN/Dynasty Ticker.

All of my freezes have come with Autosave turned off also

So it seems like autosave probably doesn't have anything to do with the Press Start crash since people who have autosave turned off have gotten the Press Start crash.

SGMRock had a great idea/observation. Has everyone who's gotten the Press Start crash played online games? Has anyone gotten the Press Start crash who hasn't played an online game?

I have crashed at Press Start twice and have NOT played online. However it only happened the 1st day I had the game. Every other crash happened within the game.

You mean the Press Start crash is not happening for you anymore? Did it stop on its own, or did you take action to fix it (like by deleting your roster files)?
