IF you had understood my point, it wasn't that I didn't win the Heisman, it was that I finished outside the top 5 after leading all year. THAT was the concern.

And as someone just said, this happened in NCAA 11 as well. WI could never win the Heisman because they didn't have a Conf Champ game and no matter how well my players did, they lost to someone with obviously inferior stats because of the last game of the regular season. WRs with 900 yard have won, when my RB or QB with gaudy stats didn't. And this isn't at a mid-major... this is a Big Ten school vs any other conference.

Something similar. Oregon St HB, freshman year, won PAC12 and NC game. Ran for 4300 yards and 48tds on 400 carries. Won Heisman handily, beat a top five team five times over the course of the season and had big games during each of those games. I started day one for the Beavers.

I led all season with Trent Richardson but Andrew Luck won the Heisman. Ironically Luck finished 3rd in the voting for best QB. That makes 0 sense! Lol

I've only ever won the Heisman once, in a Big 10 online dynasty with Illinois in NCAA 10.

Yes. With Luck, 4012 yds 41tds 376rush yds 6 rush tds.
Beat Case Keenem, over 5000 yds 54 tds 4 rush tds.

But in real life this is realistic based in type of offense/schedule. And though Luck won Heisman, he was 2nd/3rd in the other awards. Again, this is realistic because not every Heisman winner automatically wins other awards.

Has anyone ever won or even got on the list with a defensive player (Non-RTG)?

My 1st Season as PITT DC I tried to win the Heisman with Max Gruder (MLB). I failed miserably, never even got on the list. I didn't even win the Butkus Award, I finished 3rd even tho I had much better stats then the winner.
