How has Texas progressed in your Dynasty? (Cpu)

Texas is where I decided to go as my RTG RB... It took me till week 10 before I started, due to coming in as a 4th string fresman, and while I was on the bench I pretty much saw them lose to every ranked team we played against.

Bout time I played, we beat a couple schools we were suppose to, went to a regular bowl game, and lost to Penn State 50 something to 30...

Now in my sophomore season, we are 1-0 so far, and we are ranked 22 in the nation. I hope I can help turn things around, but as RB I can only do so much out the backfield.

I think with the progression glitch and Texas coaching staff being ranked so high, this rights itself it year in 2012 and on. I did a sim of 5 years to see if things get really bad with the coach progression for my UW dynasty (it's not that bad but obvious something is wrong.)

Texas won 9 games in 2012, 10 in 13 and 14. I didn't check during 2012 and 13 seasons but in 14 they are A overall with A+ OFF and A- DEF. So, they get back to winning quickly. They also take in #9 class overall in 2014.

Is it evil of me that I tried to sim the Boise/UGA game 10 times to have Boise lose? I hate them that much lol no offense my Bronco friends on here. Suffice to say, I gave up, I bow to Boise and their juiced up rankings on this year's game.

Oklahoma St. is OKST, just as Oregon St. is ORST. Ohio St. is OSU.

Anyways, I adjusted my conferences after each season to have good teams move up to better conferences and bad teams move down. Texas has stayed still as they have neither done well enough to move up (usually 10+ wins) nor poor enough to move down (usually 3- wins). I haven't checked their prestige recently, but I never see them in the rankings or bowl games. I too have noticed they dropped from the spotlight though.

I am in year 2018 of dynasty, championship week, of a rebuilt Big XII.

Texas is currently ranked #2 (12-0), I am ranked #4 as Missouri (11-1) with my one loss to Texas (45-42 in 2 OT). Last year Texas went 12-2, #5 overall, and won the Sugar Bowl over Auburn. The year before they went 13-1 and finished #2 overall and won the Orange Bowl.


Ohio State is currently a 2*, and went 1-11 this year so a 1* might be forth-coming. They did beat Michigan who went 11-1 and is currently #14 and going to play #3 Wisconsin (11-1) for the Big 10 title who lost to #6 Nebraska (10-2).

Oklahoma went 9-3, and is 5*. Oklahoma lost to Texas, Missouri, and Notre Dame (10-2) (also a Big XII member).

The top teams that are down:
OSU: 2*
Oregon: 3*
Auburn: 3*
Florida: 3*
West Virginia: 2*
Florida State: 3*
Miami: 1*- two straight seasons without a win despite the fact they are rated 80-87 in every category. They even lost to FSC South!

I have gotta finish this dynasty before I start my real one with community rosters, keep putting it off or deleting it before it gets going, but I am looking forward to seeing if OSU tanks again.
