Who to User control?

In past years I have felt the FS is the best position to user, but now this year I feel the secondary is already good. What position do you guys control on defense? Is it the same position everytime or does it matter what play you are running? I have heard of people using the Dline this year because of how good the secondary is now.

I play a heavy man defense. I user who ever has the RB responsibility.

So if the RB stays in and blocks do you just roam and ball hawk or do you rush the QB?

I have used the LE since like Madden 06... I dont know why, but when I am the Dline, I will get to the QB much MUCH faster than if I let the CPU does it.. CPU does really utilize the pass rush moves as much. So since I get to the QB within 2-3 seconds, my secondary does get stretched really so don't need to control them.. Also, when I control the DE, I can make sure RB screens are stopped right away compared to hoping my computer Dline recognizes it. (And since TTU dline isnt great at all, mid to low 70 players, they really dont notice the screen)

However, when I have played secondary, I tend to have an issue with over running where the ball is thrown and the CPU gets more big plays when I control a SS or FS.

Edit: Also, I use the LE since the LT is usually alot better and so its easier to get to the QB that way.

You have to make sure the RB is running a checkdown route or a screen. If he stays in protection I play the field and try to shut down whoever seems to be getting open.

If you rush youll never get to the qb unless they start to scramble.

Pass Rush baby!!! If you have great pass rushing, the rest of the defense looks better than it really is.

i usually use the LBer that has the most speed.
