PS3 - slow?

Is it me, or does the PS3 version seem to be lagging? Not with the gameplay, but in-between plays. Like after a runner is tackled and gets up, it stutters. Going thru the menus drives me crazy, it's so slow and unresponsive. Any ideas, or is it just me?

I know on some games, you can install to the hard drive, but didn't see it on this game....is there a way to do that? Maybe that would help..

The menus are definately a nightmare. Heres to hoping PS4 is just around the corner with much, much, better hardware than ps3.

PS3 hardware? You're joking, right? I think the blame lies with EA. Either stop porting the 360 version over, or hire some better programmers...

EA said they program the game on both systems side by side, but its obviously a lie. The fact that 360 users don't have problems with lag is the proof. The menu lag is a joke and when I play a no huddle team sometimes the lag between plays is unbearable.

If you're playing offline content, disconnect your system from the net while you play. I found it to improve the lags in the menus and interface on the 360. I think the ESPN integration with the tickers and radio bog it down.

It's not you, trust me. I get terrible lag in the menus, and even in the play calling screens. Thankfully I don't experience this while executing a play. I made a topic about this before the game came out with the demo and everybody thought I was crazy.

One thing that helps with the menus is if you turn all the ESPN radio and news ticker. It helps a lot. Not perfect, but much better.

I had my first online experience last night and it was horrible, the lag omg!!! If u think offline lag is bad try online, idk if it was my connection, which i doubt, but it was horrible, my opponent told me, u have to get used to the lag, BS, thats unacceptable. Iv been playin on the PS3, not sure if its a psn issue but the lag left a bad NCAA taste in my mouth....
