i am willing to bet that EA will NOT patch the problem with coaching/player progression. they will just patch the roster editing issue. which completly blows IMO.

Interesting post from the guy who said he contacted XBL and EA saying that fixes to some issues will be addressed on Sunday. While I'd like to believe it I think the roster fix is going to take a lot longer than a couple of days to fix.

Mid August is a logical time frame to expect it, IMO. I would image that they want to get it out a week or two before Madden comes out(hopefully without anything else going haywire) so as to talk down as many ledge jumpers as they can before it's time to buy Madden.

Although people are going to be really angry about it, they probably won't say anything specific until the actual day the patch is uploaded. I can't remember whether it was last year or the year before that, but one time they announced that the patch was coming in three days, and something went wrong and it ended up being another week and a half.

People lost their religion, throwing out wonderful terms like "liars", "betrayal", "unethical", and such. Since that time they learned that it was better to deal with the anger of silence, then the anger from perceived dishonesty.
