What is the best mode of play to use just to play a complete season in the ncaa? I see different modes where you have to control a player or coach. Is there a way just to play a season where you don't have to control a certain thing but where you control the team?

Pick a HC of any team, it doesn't really matter if coaching contracts are on or off if you're only going to play the season. You can skip recruiting too. Dynasty mode can be a season mode or a 60 year dynasty. Just depends on when you quit.
