I'm not asking for play-by-play, and in the thread I linked, I certainly talk about how it takes both sides (developers and consumers) to come to a common middle road. But it's not difficult for a community rep to collect questions, get some quick answers, and post it on the official forums and then link to it via twitter. If you're going to hire a community manager, it's a good idea if he actually does his job and interacts with the community beyond fluff events.
Justin Dewiel has been on this site and other EA developers have actually opened up threads to interact with this community about certain bugs. Just because they have not specifically addressed every single bug does not mean they aren't listening or don't care.

I can promise you that all concerns in the bugs/glitches thread are looked at whether they are specifically responded to or not.

That and the economy is a little better.

If that isn't the overstatement of the century... "a little better" he says...

Its worse.

But yea I am not surprised sales are up... Its a far better game. And 75% people that bother to come on forums are there to complain. The other 25% actually have a question or just enjoy using the forum. But I can tell you, the average person that gets this game, like my friends at college, don't bother to go over a game with a fine tooth comb.. cause we got other things and understand that its a simulation.

that's too bad that this will send the message that selling a beta is acceptable
