same here, although I actually do get cut down at the knees by corners and safeties a lot. I use Texas and have Malcolm Brown and Cody Johnson who are both powerful runners, they tend to get pushed out of bounds(or attempted pushes quite often) or they get cut with low tackles.

i tend to also lean away from CBs while hitting A and they will often shrug them off with ease, but then they tend to get caught from behind but at least not going backwards against a CB.
