And its back this year. Such a joke. Doesn't matter if you hit cover ball before you slide. So infuriating

Or you are like me when I used to do it, was because I was the QB and to avoid getting hit I wanted to slide problem is at that close to the endzone the game doesn't register the slide or something and causes them to dive which sucks, because I either risk my QB getting injuried or I risk a fumble. Neither outcome I want because I rather slide at the one and pound it in with my running back or continue to run the clock out.

Happens in real life. Not a glitch, it's part of the game. It happens.

I'm fine with the fumbles, people should be punished for diving in traffic.

But half the time I try to QB slide, the quarterback just dives instead, which results in all my fumbles which is infuriating.

Only time I ever saw Ray Rice fumble was on a contested dive into the end zone.

Try double-tapping the dive/slide button. That's what I started doing last season and never had any more problems with unwanted diving.

Also, it should be mentioned, that in past games I have seen issues with fumbling on dives for seemingly no reason. I get the idea that you're more likely to fumble when you're hit while diving. What doesn't make sense were the times I dove for first downs and the only contact was my player's foot touching a defender's ankle (or something similar) causing the ball to come out. Or in a couple cases (before I stopped diving altogether) when I didn't touch anything but the ground.

Tony Romo did it during last year's opener against the Jets.
